Performing Arts created stunning, beautiful performances in the Interactive Net in the event space at LEVEL. Performing in projected colours that changed through individual participants manipulation. 

Covered in Sand

Tuesday's Performing Arts was a very special event. Participants entered the space to find three performers asleep covered in sand. 

Participants were given sand to pour onto the three as they slept. 

Later on the performers came to life, encouraging everybody to move and dance in the sand through the crossing of the floor and wall projections. 

Dancing in the Sand

Tuesdays Performing Arts Workshop was an experience. Participants entered the performance space to see hypnotic solos being performed by the workshop leaders. Afterwards participants were invited to join in. 

SMALL WORLD returns via Skype to Performing Arts and Spiral

Participants were excited to see and collaborate with the Loose Tooth again at DADAA, in Fremantle Australia. A live online collaboration with people at LEVEL working with people in Australia. IMAGES from the session below.

Please Hang Up and Try Again!

Spiral, the Performance Company of LEVEL, start to experiment with movement based around making a telephone call or answering the telephone. Due to crossed wires the phone operator repeats loudly 'Please hang up and try again!

The sound track was created live by Frances using samples on the keyboard, and Spiral performers responded to the soundtrack, through movement and vocals on the microphone.
